Title: Hexapuss Subway
Spelling: Hexapuss (two s)
Status: Concept / pitch (2026-09-02)
Script beat lock: INT. SUBWAY: DAY. Yellow-tailed black cat only. No new lore.
Concept
You play the yellow-tailed black cat from the short film (INT. SUBWAY: DAY). Portrait 2D, one thumb. A crowded subway car: benches, poles, windows blurred with tunnel light. Passengers walk the aisle. Tap to squat and drop a glowing yellow turd; yellow mist rises and LINGERS so one drop can chain-claim more than one rider. Eyes flash yellow: claimed. Score is claims. Miss too many or get caught by the Conductor (wave 2+) and you fail. First run is clean, no ads.
Loop
- Crowded subway car. Benches, poles, windows with tunnel blur. Passengers walk the aisle.
- One-thumb drop. Tap / click / space: cat squats, drops glowing yellow turd; yellow mist rises as a lingering column and chain-claims riders (eyes flash yellow).
- Score = claims. Wave clear on target claims.
- Conductor / janitor fail-state from wave 2+ on contact.
Score / fail
- Score: claims. Wave clear on target claims.
- Fail: miss too many, or contact with Conductor / janitor from wave 2+.
Ads pattern
Fail-only stubs, no banners, one rewarded continue per run, then yellow mist-fill interstitial. First run clean. No live ads.
- Fail and the cat’s eyes light up: watch a rewarded ad, get one more life (clears the Conductor). Continue, one per run.
- Skip it or fail again and yellow mist fills the screen; the interstitial plays inside that cloud, then you restart from wave 1.
Script lock
- Ian Kessner & Steve Hinan Hexapuss short film: black cats with colored tails; glowing colored feces / mist possession; yellow-tailed cat on the subway; yellow mist; people’s eyes flash yellow.
- No new Ancient Ones. No fourth playable cat. No new lore.
- Not Quest pinball. Not Meteor Attack. Not Cosmic Gate / Gate / Mist / Divide / Pack / Latch / Rift / Chomp.
